One person, eight months

Design, pixel art, code and marketing are all done by one developer. The plan was three months.

Pixel art made by hand

Every character, pet and item is drawn by hand. There is no AI art anywhere in the game.

Onboarding is five push-ups

New players used to fill in a long form. Now they pick a class and do 5 push-ups as their first workout, so they see the point of the app in the first minute.
